Continuing with the philosophy of simple design, the BRD parallel acting blades create a high integrity barrier to blast events from 0.05 to 0.5 barg with proven effectiveness during physical blast testing at Baker Risk Laboratories in the USA and optional ATEX third party approval.
The Blast Resistant Damper is suitable for use in both safe and hazardous areas, in both automatic (self) resetting and manual reset control configurations.
